The Museum of Romanity and The different museums to visit

For a visit focused on the art and history of the city of Narbonne, we recommend these few museums. First of all, we recommend the Narbonne archeology museum retracing the history of Narbonne from prehistory to the Middle Ages, as well as the Roman Horréum museum which is a set of underground galleries. Finally, the famous and monumental NarboVia Roman Museum has opened its doors to present the entire Roman heritage of the city.

Le massif from Clape

To discover the diversity of the unspoiled landscapes of the La Clape massif on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, as well as the breathtaking viewpoints, we advise you to take the belvedere route, on foot or by bike. Between vineyards, geological curiosities, protected plant species and wild birds, you will simply observe nature.

The Great Narbonne Buffets

During your visit to Narbonne, don't miss the Grands Buffets. This famous gourmet restaurant, located less than 10 minutes from our hotel in the city center of Narbonne, offers the art of traditional French cuisine in all-you-can-eat buffet format and ranging from hors d'oeuvres, to the rotisserie and including the largest platter of cheeses from around the world, to finish on the desserts. Take the opportunity to discover the Pont des Marchands, one of the only inhabited bridges in Narbonne and France.

The small fishing village of Gruissan

A 20-minute drive away is the welcoming village of Gruissan, built around the medieval castle of the Barberousse tower. This former fishing village has become a pleasant seaside resort.
